Computer Health - Symtoms
|
The symptoms of unhealthy computer use are serious! Unfortunately, they are not taken seriously by some people who think that the symptoms are imagined and are 'all in the head'.
Some common symptoms of computer related health problems include:
- Numbness, tingling, pins and needles.
- Loss of strength and/or co-ordination.
- Stiffness and diminished joint movement.
- Hot and cold sensations and trembling muscles.
- Recurrent or persistent pain, tenderness or aching.
- Disrupted sleep patterns and chronic fatigue.
These symptoms may at first come and go, but if they are ignored they usually become more severe and persistent. Eventually the sufferer may experience depression as a result of their pain and their inability to perform many of their normal tasks of daily life.
It is important that you see your doctor if you begin to experience any of these symptoms.
